Fishing Club

largest amateur fishing club in New South Wales

Hat Head Amateur Fishing Club is affiliated with the New South Wales Fishing Club Association (NSWFCA) and is the largest amateur fishing club in New South Wales with over 200 members. We are also affiliated with the Mid North Coast Amateur Deep Sea Fishing Club (MNCDSFCA) division of NSWFCA and our members compete in their bi-annual competitions, with clubs between Coffs Harbour and Hat Head competing. Our fishing club abides by all NSW Fisheries regulations and NSWFCA guidelines.

We are a family orientated fishing club who have a huge emphasis on teaching our junior fisherpersons correct fishing techniques & sustainability. All juniors compete in their own section and do not compete against adults. Every junior receives an incentive prize for competing in our monthly competitions. Ladies also have a separate comp of their own. We also have a lot of fun in our fishing club! You will hear laughter, have great times, find friendship and learn a lot about fishing if you do not know very much. We are all here to benefit and help each other.

New members are very welcome to join. Nomination forms are available at the bar of HHBC. You must be a financial member of HHBC to also join the fishing club. Juniors do not have to join HHBC but still need to fill out a nomination form. Please see the nomination form for costs to join the fishing club.
